Nintendo 3DS - The Nintendo 3DS which was released at the beginning of 2011 is a advancement on the popular Nintendo DS and DSi range of hand held Game consoles. It is manufactured by Nintendo and Foxconn. It uses 3D technology originally developed for the Virtual Boy and later the Gameboy advance SP. 3D technology was incorporated into the Nintendo Gamecube but due to high cost and availability of 3D monitors at the time only one 3D game was ever produced and the functionality was never enabled in the console. The 3DS has an ability to produce "3D effects" without the need for any special glasses using a process called "parallax barrier autostereoscopy". Further information on Autostereoscopy can be found in the wikipedia articleAutostereoscopy. The 3DS according to Nintendo is backwardsly compatible with software for the DS and DSi series.
Sony NGP - The NGP or Playstation portable 2 is an hand held games console based on the Sony PSP. Initial reports indicate that the device includes dual analog sticks, a 5 inch Organic Light-emitting diode capacitive touchscreen, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi support. It will be available in a 3G and a non 3G version. Internally, the device features a 4 core ARM Cortex-A9 core processor and a 4 core SGX543MP4+ graphics processing unit as well as a new user interface called Livearea. It will use a new proprietary type of flash storage media called NGP card. Initially these will come in 2GB or 4GB variants with larger sizes available later. Apparently it will support psp downloadable titles and psone classics but wont support umd discs.
Xbox 720? - Very few details exist on the "new" Xbox apart from the fact that Microsoft are possibly in a planning phase. There is lots of speculation with regards to possible hardware speculation including the possiblitity of a switch from ATI to the new INTEL chipset codenamed "larrabee" which will raise combatibility issues with the existing xbox 360 software. Further specualtion is that it will feature full HD stereoscopic 3D.
Playstation 4? - Again very few details exist on any possible PS4. It is expected that Sony will stick with the Cell processor as it has recently purchased a Cell manufacturing plant from Toshiba for £400 million. Apart from that there is very few details on what any possible PS4 will include.
Project Cafe(WII2) - Nintendo have officially announced a sucessor to the WII provisionally called the WII2. It will apparently be demonstrated in a playable form at the electonics entertainment expo in June 2011. Initial speculation is that a new controller will be released based on the old SNES controller. Presumably it will feature HD graphics and a significant increase in processsing power from the original WII.

Chorley's leading computer shop for Business and home computer repair. Service and Repair of PC's and Apple Mac . When we were looking for premises for 1 Stop Tech shop we had a number of considerations. We wanted to be located in a strategic area at the centre of the motorway network that allowed PJR Micro Ltd to service our business and domestic customers easily and cost effectively. We therefore chose Chorley as this location. As we have continued expanding we quickly realised that our Chorley shop was to small for our purposes. We therefore started looking for new larger premises. There was nothing suitable within the immediate area so we expanded our search further afield, and located a building in Whelley, Wigan which was ideally suited for our purposes which we moved to in 2009. As our business is now going more and more data based we need a premises with fast backbone connection and as the fastest speeds we can obtain at Wigan is 3mb we have amalgamated all our business under one roof at our business service center at Coppull Where we have a 15mb and a 11mb backbone connection. Our Business customers range in areas from Liverpool to Wilmslow and Kendal to York and we have domestic customers all over Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Our new computer shop and premises have extensive offroad parking so short distance to carry sickly pc's.
